Work orders

BCsystems can assist your committee to arrange maintenance.

The cost is charged to your body corporate at $70.00 + GST for issuing a work order, plus an hourly rate charge for liasing with the contractor about the scope of work, building access, and any unforseen issues.

Lower-cost option is available

Your committe can engage with a suitable contractor and arrange work directly. Any contractor who is properly qualified (licensed if necessary) and insured can complete work to the common property.

If your contractor does require an official work order, we can issue a work order but leave the on-site contact, discussion and any back-and-forth with you as the nominated committee member.

Quote requests

BCsystems can assist your committee to arrange quote requests from suitable contractors.

The cost is charged to your body corporate at $70.00 + GST for issuing a quote request, plus an hourly rate charge for liasing with the contractor about the scope of work, access, and any unforseen issues.

In the current market, many contractors are refusing to provide quotes (particularly for work below $1,000), or are charging an up-front quote fee.

Lower-cost option is available

Your committe can engage with a suitable contractor and arrange quotes directly.

To ensure you are comparing apples with apples, we recommend a committee member meet each quoting contractor to discuss the scope of work and answer any questions.
